 JOB PURPOSE

Update the site Operating Procedures and Operating Manuals to reflect the as-built plant configuration following completed projects and approved P&ID changes, so that operations personnel work to accurate and current documentation.

SCOPE OF WORK

•    Review existing operating procedures and manuals against the latest as-built and revised P&IDs.

•    Identify gaps arising from completed projects, plant modifications and Management of Change records.

•    Update procedures for start-up, normal operation, shutdown, emergency and upset conditions, including revised set points, operating envelopes and equipment line-ups.

•    Verify updated content through field walk-downs with operations personnel.

•    Route revised documents through site review and approval, and issue final revisions to document control.

•    Maintain the document index and revision register, and report progress against the agreed schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.

•    Minimum ten (10) years experience in oil and gas, with hands-on operations experience at an onshore gas processing facility.

•    Proven experience in preparing and updating operating procedures and manuals for an operating plant.

•    Able to read and mark up P&IDs, cause and effect diagrams and control narratives.

•    Familiar with Management of Change and Permit to Work systems.

•    Strong technical writing skills in English; proficient in MS Word and PDF mark-up tools.
